With the beginning of a new school year, we at CMCC realize the importance of feeding the children with the Word of God even as they are constantly bombarded with a whole lot of secular materials. Hence the Kidz Club, which is an outreach ministry to minister to kids in the community.
As you probably know, our Kidz Club '09 - '10 begins on September 12, '09. This is a once-a-month program held on the second Saturday of every month, from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Our primary goal for this Club is for kids to come and learn the Word of God through Bible stories, activity books and memory verses, along with some fun activity (indoor/outdoor) depending on the weather.
The Kidz Club is now open to kids ages 4 through 15 (Pre-K through 10th grade). We have extended this program to the teenagers too, as they and the parents have expressed their continued interest in attending this program. We are planning on a Christ based teen-oriented curriculum, which will help prepare them to face the challenges in a secular society.
