Church History

Our church evolved from a fellowship that was started in the year 1988 where we gathered once a month. But in the year 1997, God clearly asked our pastor to move on and build a Church with His agenda. After much prayer, he started a non-denominational Church in Columbia, Maryland worshipping every Sunday in a rental facility.  In the year 2002, God blessed the church with our own building in Ellicott City, Maryland.

Ever since, our glorious Lord has been strengthening our church, and is teaching us so much through Acts 2: 42 "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."  He opened our eyes to see this scriptural passage in a new light.  Therefore, the church has decided to expand and become an inclusive church for all nations with the new name “Central Maryland Christian Church”.  For further details, please read our Vision, Mission and Belief statements.

We thank you for visiting us and hope to meet you in person one day.
